Established in 1991, the Sha-Shib Group of Institutions stands today as one of India’s most trusted and distinguished higher education providers, with a legacy of over 33 years. What began as a visionary dream has now grown into South Asia’s largest and most prominent group offering Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) training. With its foundation built on integrity, innovation, and quality, the group has become a leading force in aviation, engineering, science, and management education.
From cutting-edge technological integration to industry-aligned curricula, Sha-Shib Group is committed to giving the youth a competitive edge in an evolving global landscape. It continues to redefine the educational standards in technical and professional domains—ensuring that students are not only prepared for the present but also future-ready for the emerging challenges of the world.
Since its inception, Sha-Shib Group has remained steadfast in its mission to provide holistic, career-focused education. Over three decades of educational service have seen the group establish an extensive and influential presence across 12+ major cities in India, along with expanding internationally to the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA). This global expansion reflects the group’s commitment to preparing students for international careers in aviation and engineering.
What sets Sha-Shib apart is its blend of traditional values with modern pedagogy. While the roots lie in disciplined, structured education, its branches extend toward futuristic technologies, experiential learning, and global employability.
Sha-Shib Group is particularly revered for its pioneering role in aviation education. It is proudly recognized as the largest provider of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) training in South Asia, a distinction earned through consistency, credibility, and industry trust.
One of the group’s core strengths is its 13 Aircraft Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) bases and sub-bases, which are licensed under CAR-145 by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. These MROs provide students with hands-on experience on live aircraft, a rare and invaluable opportunity for real-time learning in actual aircraft maintenance environments. Students witness and engage in daily maintenance checks, troubleshooting, safety inspections, and other ground-handling procedures—all critical to shaping a well-rounded AME professional.
Sha-Shib Group takes pride in having the highest number of DGCA-approved AME institutions in India, totaling nine prestigious colleges. This positions the group not only as a trusted educational leader but also as a consistent contributor to India’s skilled aviation workforce.
These colleges are strategically located in cities like Pune, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Cochin, Guna, Jamshedpur, Bengaluru, and others, thereby increasing accessibility for students across the country. Each institution under the Sha-Shib umbrella follows DGCA-mandated CAR-147 (Basic) and CAR-66 guidelines, ensuring compliance with international aviation education standards.
At Sha-Shib, state-of-the-art infrastructure is an integral part of its educational philosophy. All campuses are equipped with:
The hands-on training is complemented by a robust mentoring system, where experienced faculty guide students through every step of their professional journey.
Sha-Shib Group has transcended geographical boundaries to become a global educational powerhouse. While its core operations are based in India, the group’s footprint extends internationally through strategic partnerships and institutions in the USA and the UK. Through its global reach, Sha-Shib ensures that its students are exposed to international standards, industry best practices, and emerging trends in aviation and technology.
Its global expansion is supported by M/S Kohinoor Global Services Pvt. Ltd. (KGSPL)—an international wing dedicated to promoting educational exchanges, foreign training programs, and employment pathways in global aviation markets.
