The institute operates a fully functional MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) unit at Guna Airport, certified under DGCA’s CAR 145. This facility supports both base and line maintenance of aircraft, offering students real-time exposure to aircraft inspection, servicing, and repair operations in a controlled environment.
SFA Guna is also home to a DGCA-approved Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO), where students delve into essential aspects of aircraft safety and airworthiness management, beyond their technical curriculum. This ensures a deeper understanding of aviation standards and operational safety.
The academy has strategic partnerships with reputed aviation entities such as AI Engineering Services Ltd (AIESL) and Sha-Shib Flying Academy MRO. These collaborations enrich the training experience by offering students valuable hands-on exposure to the aviation maintenance industry.
The campus features an exclusive aircraft hangar housing operational aircraft as well as customer-owned aircraft that undergo maintenance at the Guna Airstrip MRO. This setup gives learners access to live aircraft systems, enhancing their technical proficiency and real-world readiness.
